As a web developer who has been in the website hosting business for many years, I can confidently say that GoDaddy is not a good choice for website hosting. In my experience, there are many reasons why GoDaddy falls short when it comes to providing a reliable and secure hosting service.

Okay, since I spent the entire blog bashing GoDaddy I figure it’s only right to point out a plus – I think their DNS services seem to work well. So if you purchase a domain I think that is perfectly fine and secure. I just wouldn’t get sucked into the all-in-one type of mentality that you have to have website hosting with them too.
